the kicking of football, and the running of lacrosse to make for exciting movement on the field.

The movement on the field is throwing the ball, kicking the ball, or running with the ball until the player with the ball is touched by a player on the opposing team.  When the player with the ball is touched, he/she must stop, and once stopped can then throw or kick the ball to another player if he/she can do that before being touched by another player from the opposing team.  When touched by a second player from the opposing team, the player with the ball must surrender the ball to the other team, and at that point the other team becomes the offense.

The game then uses accurate shooting similar to the 3 point shooting in basketball to score points by hitting a

6 inch to 13 inch diameter pole 8 foot tall with the ball by throwing or kicking the ball at the pole from a distance of 15 to 25 yards or farther away from the pole.  But you can also score fewer points by getting the ball through  the space between two other poles that are smaller in diameter and stand on each side of the larger center pole and have a space between them that is 40 inches wide.  That is, there is a distance of 40 inches between these two smaller poles, and the larger pole is in the middle of the space between them.

When you play an official game, there should be 10 players from each team on the field and the game should be played for four 15 minute quarters with time outs not considered as part of those minutes.
